blackout

On October 29, 2012, an explosion at a Con Edison electrical substation rocked Lower Manhattan and plunged it into obscurity as Superstorm Sandy
battered the NYC with wind and water.

The City became a blind labyrinth with eerie shadows wandering its concrete canyons and flooded streets.

“Blackout” is a project by photographer Nataliya Masharova and filmmaker Anatoli Ulyanov.

Please, turn off the light, turn on the music below and experience the dark.
